Tasting Note:

An attractive young wine of a delicate gold colour with a touch of spritz. The bouquet brims with light elderflower, citrus and honeyed tropical fruits and is supported with a well balanced and satisfying middle palate. The gentle acidity and good fruit flavours, particularly grapefruit, help to provide a sustained length and finish.

The classic Bacchus with floral and citrus aromas that regular followers will recognise straight away.  Very popular with fish restaurants which customers of the Bure River Cottage on the Norfolk Broads will testify.

Shawsgate has received over 30 international, national and local awards for its Bacchus wines over the last twenty five years. As a young wine we hope to enter more international competitions in the future.
